Staller Sattel

The Staller Sattel / Passo Stalle is another alpine border between Austria and Italy.
The road is very narrow, so there is the alternating traffic.

In the bar/restaurant on this border you can also find an Austro-Italian food mix...   :)

A fine collection of signs. There is something exciting about boarders. Perhaps it is leaving one world and entering another.

I like that Italia sign. I remember trying to understand what those signs were telling me when I was there.

Why the stickers are all on the Austrian sign? Love the mix of culinary traditions...

This is so interesting! The signs are terrific. But the vast steepness of the mountains leaves me jittery! :) I guess I'd just have to stay that and eat!

Any sign that has the words cappuccino and strudel on it is ok by me Karl :)
