Fresh milk...

The local farmers bring the milk here, which is then picked up by tanker and taken to central processing and sale.

Oh my goodness! When I was a kid - in the 1940s - they did this on my grandmother's farm in northern Minnesota...we'd put out the milk pails in the driveway for pickup and processing!

I'm intrigued by that crucifix...is that on public property?

Hi Lowell, I'm almost sure it is private property.

I've never seen this done before! At least it is well chilled while waiting for pick up.

How unusual... I'm surprised the milk isn't held in a stainless steel temperature controlled tank... but I LOVE the image and the nostalgic feeling!

A bench with some milk and a cross... A curious and interesting picture, perfect for aBoB!

Looks cold enough so it won't go off if the truck comes through late!
